Seasonal Youth Activity

The Virginia Beach SPCA offers educational activities or challenges to engage children at home. From writing competitions to art challenges to kindness calendars, we continue to provide new ways to spread the mission of the VBSPCA while also having a little bit of virtual fun.

Kindness Calendar

For the month of May, we’re encouraging youth to spread a little kindness! We’ve created a calendar with simple activities designed to teach young animal lovers that small actions can make a big difference in our community. Parents are encouraged to reward their young ones once they complete all of the activities!

To participate:

• Download a Kindness Calendar here.
• The activity on May 23rd asks children to write a letter to a shelter animal. Letters should be submitted to humaneeducation@vbspca.com.
