The Virginia Beach SPCA offers educational shelter experiences for youth groups designed to help children learn more about animal welfare, responsible pet care, and the important work happening every day at our shelter.
Visits include a behind-the-scenes look at areas of the shelter, opportunities to learn about caring for animals in need, and an interactive activity or animal meet-and-greet based on availability and shelter operations.
Programs are offered on a limited basis and must be scheduled in advance. Group size limitations apply.
