Spay/Neuter Services
The Virginia Beach SPCA Clinic provides affordable spay/neuter services to the community to help reduce pet overpopulation. Spay/Neuter services are not income restricted, as we encourage all owners to choose to spay or neuter their pets. We also provide a mobile spay/neuter service with our Neuter Scooter.
Spaying—removing the ovaries and uterus of a female dog or cat—is a veterinary procedure that requires minimal hospitalization and offers lifelong health benefits.
Neutering—removing the testicles of your male dog or cat—will vastly improve your pet’s behavior and keep him close to home.
Spay/Neuter Requirements:
Use our online appointment form here to request an appointment. You can also contact our clinic message line at (757) 427-0070 option 2 (please provide a valid daytime number). Please review our clinic services and pricing before scheduling your appointment.
*Due to the volume of calls received, it may be 24 hrs (or more on the weekend) before your call is returned. If you feel that your pet needs to be seen sooner, or in the event of an animal related emergency, please seek medical attention elsewhere as all of our appointments must be scheduled in advance.
If you are unsure about spaying or neutering your pet, here are 10 Reasons why you should:
