Little Learners is a fun and engaging educational experience designed to help young children develop kindness, compassion, and empathy through interactive stories and hands-on activities. Each session also includes a special meet-and-greet with a small animal, where children will learn about pet care, gentle handling, and the human-animal connection. This program is open to children ages 3-5 and their caregivers.
Location & Schedule:
Little Learners takes place on select Monday afternoons at the TCC/Joint Use Library (Meeting Room 102), occurring either monthly or every other month depending on the season and schedule.
Monthly Themes:
July – Red, White, & Woof September – Back to School & Helping Animals Learn November – Giving Thanks for Animals December – Home for the Holidays
Support Our Mission:
We kindly ask for a suggested donation of $5 per child to participate. All funds raised go directly toward humane education initiatives and helping shelter animals in our care. Donations are optional, and any amount is appreciated to support our programs.
