September is here, and there are plenty of ways to give back! From local fundraisers to community events, there are lots of opportunities to have some fun while supporting the animals of the VBSPCA.
VBSPCA 25th Annual Puttin’ For Paws Golf Tournament The 2026 VBSPCA Puttin’ for Paws Charity Golf Tournament is coming up on Friday, October 2, and we are still looking for sponsors to join us for this special event! We’ll return to Red Wing Lake Golf Course for 18 holes, great food, cold drinks, adorable animals, and lively games—all while supporting homeless animals in our community. September 1–30: Two Bitch Bourbon Benefiting the VBSPCA Raise a glass and support the animals of the VBSPCA! Throughout September, Two Bitch Bourbon will donate 20% of proceeds from purchases made through their VBSPCA fundraiser back to the VBSPCA. It’s an easy way to enjoy your favorite bourbon while helping provide care and second chances to animals in need.
September 4: Jason’s Deli Fundraising Night Join us for a fundraising night at Jason’s Deli in Pembroke Mall! From 5–9 p.m. on September 4, 20% of qualifying purchases will be donated back to the VBSPCA. Be sure to mention the VBSPCA at checkout so your purchase counts toward the fundraiser. Stop by for dinner and help support animals in our community!
September 18: DQ Pup Cup Shelter Outreach Treat your pup and help support the VBSPCA! Join us at Dairy Queen at 1925 Landstown Centre Way from 1–4 p.m. for a special shelter outreach event. Stop by to learn more about the VBSPCA, meet our team, and enjoy a Pup Cup with your furry friend!
September 19: HRASA Pet Fest Come celebrate animals and pet ownership at HRASA Pet Fest! Join the VBSPCA and other local animal organizations from 2–4 p.m. at Afterglow in Norfolk. The event will highlight local shelters, rescues, and adoptable animals while bringing together animal lovers and members of the Hampton Roads community.
September 26: Chipotle Fundraising Night Skip cooking and grab Chipotle while supporting the animals of the VBSPCA! From 4–8 p.m. on September 26, 25% of fundraiser sales at the Princess Anne location will be donated back to the VBSPCA. Help us reach the $150 fundraising minimum by enjoying a meal with a purpose!
All Year Long – Sustainable Support
The Adventures of Lucky and Bud Share a sweet story of compassion for animals and support the Virginia Beach SPCA! Author Frank Pengitore of the children’s book The Adventures of Lucky and Bud will donate a portion of sales along with a copy of this book for the VBSPCA’s Humane Education program library.
