The Virginia Beach SPCA values strong relationships with reputable rescue organizations that can help expand opportunities for animals in our care.

Before an animal is transferred, we ask rescue groups to complete our partnership process so we can learn more about your organization, policies, and placement practices. This helps ensure each transfer is thoughtful and in the best interest of the animal.

Rescue partners can be especially helpful for senior pets, animals with medical or behavioral needs, or those who may benefit from breed-specific experience and specialized foster or adopter networks.

We also welcome your expertise and educational resources. Our goal is simple: to work together to help more animals find safe, loving homes.
