The Virginia Beach SPCA’s 5k Run & Walk for the Animals is the oldest and largest event of its kind in South Hampton Roads. As a non-profit organization supported entirely by community donations, the VBSPCA relies heavily on large-scale fundraising events such as the 5k Run & Walk for the Animals each year. The event raised over $50,000 to support the adoptable animals at the VBSPCA, a small, but important, portion of its annual operating costs.
“Seeing hundreds of people at the Oceanfront with their families, both two and four-legged, was such an incredible sight. We could not continue our life-saving mission without the support of our community,” says Amanda Insetta, Donor Partnerships and Marketing Director of the Virginia Beach SPCA.
