Hannah Battiste is so excited to be participating in this year’s Dancing for Paws event! Hannah grew up in New Jersey and moved to Hampton Roads after graduating from Rowan University in 2015. Since 2017 she has been employed with PETA’s Community Animal Project and enjoys doing her part each day to help end animal homelessness. Hannah had ballet training for 15 years and has danced solo roles in many productions including The Nutcracker, Oklahoma!, and Seussical. Hannah has never danced ballroom before and is excited to try her hand at it while helping a great cause! When not working, she enjoys hiking, camping, baking, traveling, fostering animals, rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, and reality TV.
“Thank you to my wonderful parents, friends, and my amazing team at PETA for their continued support and for their donations to the SPCA, and to my dance partner, Tim, for being a great teacher!”
