Compassion in the Community | September 2023

Supporting the homeless animals of the Virginia Beach SPCA can be as easy as treating your pup or enjoying a refreshing drink. Here’s a look at how our community is giving back in September.

Dairy Queen Pup Cups – All Month Long
Treat your pup and shelter animals at the same time! During the month of September, Mid Atlantic Dairy Queen owned locations will be donating all proceeds from Pup Cup sales to four local animal shelters, including the VBSPCA. Dog Day at the Distillery – Beach Vodka – September 16th
Enjoy a cocktail for a good cause! Visit Beach Vodka on September 16th between 1:00pm and 4:00pm for Dog Day at the Distillery. Beach Vodka is donating $1 from every drink sold to the animals of the VBSPCA. You can also meet a VBSPCA adoptable dog and learn more about our mission.

Puttin’ for Paws Charity Golf Tournament – Spots Filling Fast
Join the VBSPCA for the 22nd Annual Puttin’ for Paws Charity Golf Tournament! The event will be held Friday, October 6th at Red Wing Lake Golf Course. Participants will enjoy a day of golf as well as lunch, unlimited beverages, and an awards dinner. Proceeds go directly to the animals of the VBSPCA! Foursomes have sold out, but a limited number of individual entries and sponsorship opportunities remain. Click here to learn more and to register.

Purchase any Shellicone product and support the animals of the VBSPCA! When you order a silicone finger protector, 5% of the proceeds will be donated to the VBSPCA. Click here to shop.

You can help homeless animals anytime you buy groceries at Kroger! Simply sign up, swipe your Plus Card when you shop, and a portion of the sale will be donated back to the VBSPCA! Sign up to participate here.
