The Virginia Beach SPCA is a private, non-profit animal shelter. We run entirely on the generosity of our members and supporters. We receive no federal, state, or local government funding, and we are not (as many think) simply a chapter of a much larger umbrella organization. Each SPCA is funded separately and has its own Board of Directors, policies, and budget. We need your help so that we can continue to shelter animals and provide programs to South Hampton Roads.
It takes $2.8 million a year to run our shelter, that's nearly $7,761 each day! We cannot perform our life saving mission without the support of our community. We greatly appreciate your support of our mission!
