It costs $50 per week to care for each animal that we take in, which does not include the funding necessary to operate the many programs that we offer to the community. We greatly appreciate your help!

Donations/EventsThe Virginia Beach SPCA is a private, non-profit animal shelter. We run entirely on the generosity of our members and supporters. We receive no federal, state, or local government funding, and we are not (as many think) simply a chapter of a much larger umbrella organization. Each SPCA is funded separately and has its own Board of Directors, policies, and budget. We need your help so that we can continue to shelter animals and provide programs to South Hampton Roads.
