On Monday, March 25th the Virginia Beach SPCA was part of a rescue of Australian Shepherd Mix Dogs from Hertford County, NC. Through cooperation with HSUS, Hertford County, Guilford County Animal Shelter, the Norfolk SPCA, and the SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina these dogs have been removed from the terrible situation they were in.

Every dog must have a full medical and behavioral assessment before becoming available. We will update our Facebook as we learn information about each of these wonderful dogs and their release for adoption. We anticipate that they will all require veterinary care, and any donations to our CARE fund are greatly appreciated. Click to donate!
