We will be accepting animals on Wednesday January 2 from 10am - 3pm
Animals that have bitten within the last ten days and strays must be take to Virginia Beach Animal Control.
We provide assessments for animals brought to the shelter, and provide owner counseling along with options if we feel an animal may not be adoptable.
We ask every customer for a donation of $50 per animal, however, we will not refuse an animal based on an owner’s or finder’s inability or unwillingness to contribute a donation towards the care of an animal.
We also ask if you are bringing us litters of puppies or kittens to please be proactive in preventing future litters. Litters of puppies or kittens will be accepted only (1) with the mother, (2) proof that the mother is spayed, or (3) on the day the mother has an appointment to be spayed at our clinic. We will ask for a donation of $100 for a litter of puppies with proof of mother spayed or $150 for a litter of puppies with (1) the mother being spayed at our clinic and returned to owner or (2) turned in with puppies. A donation of $75 for a litter of kittens with proof the mother is spayed or $125 for a litter of kittens with (1) the mother to be spayed at our clinic and returned to owner or (2) turned in with kittens.
