The VBSPCA Veterinary Clinic serves households earning $45,000 or less per year, and you will be asked to provide proof of income before services are delivered. Exceptions are made to this policy on a case-by-case basis if you can prove that you simply cannot afford treatment elsewhere. Because of the overpopulation of pets, our clinic only serves animals who have been spayed or neutered or who have an appointment to be altered.
The clinic offers low-cost spaying and neutering, wellness visits and vaccines, and illness visits and treatment. If you qualify financially, you may use our online appointment form to request an appointment. You can also contact our clinic message line at 739-9306 (please provide a valid daytime number). Due to the volume of calls received, it may be 3-5 days before your call is returned.
We also provide one-time only service, regardless of income, to animals adopted from the VBSPCA. Any such appointments must be made within 10 days of adoption.
The clinic is located at 3040 Holland Road in Virginia Beach, adjacent to the shelter.
Clinic hours currently vary based on staffing and demand levels. Please contact clinic@vbspca.com for appointment availability.
For specific information about clinic services and pricing, view our Clinic Brochure.
NOTE: Because we are already taking a loss operating this clinic, and because missed appointments cost us even more money, failure to keep appointments will result in a $20 missed appointment fee and possible loss of the privilege of using our clinic.
If you like what you see and want to support our valuable work, we can now accept secure online donations.
