Birthday Donation Drives
The Virginia Beach SPCA is so fortunate to have young, enthusiastic, and energetic supporters who love the animals at the Virginia Beach SPCA. Take, for example, Darden Purrington. For the past four years, Darden has happily coordinated a donation drive for the Virginia Beach SPCA in lieu of gifts for her birthday!
Can you imagine that! We are so thankful to Darden for reaching out to her friends and family, asking them to help keep the animals at the Virginia Beach SPCA warm and happy in honor of her special day – she deserves a round of “a-paws.”
To all of the enterprising young animal lovers who spend time and energy to celebrate their special days by showering love and attention on the VBSPCA animals, we salute you!
Morgan recently donated money to help animals in need. She worked very hard to collect money from people that support the Virginia Beach SPCA by selling her homemade beaded bracelets. What a purrrrrfect way to help our furry friends! Thanks so much Morgan for supporting our four-legged friends!
Alexis recently held a kool-aid sale and donated the profits to the VBSPCA. It just goes to show you what kindness can do! Kitty kisses to our friend, Alexis!
Olivia had a garage sale and cupcake sale to benefit the shelter animals. What a kind thing to do to help our furry friends. Thanks, Olivia.

Meagan and Colleen sold wonderfully refreshing lemonade, and they decided they wanted to donate the money to the critters here at the shelter for no reason other than they just wanted to help the animals!! What a kind thing to do for our four legged friends. Thanks, Meagan and Colleen!!
Alex sold otter pops with an out-of-state friend. They decided to give all of the money to the Virginia Beach SPCA to help homeless animals. A big thank you to Alex for being so kind and generous. Doggie tail wags to Alex.
