| The Virginia Beach SPCA is excited to announce that, in partnership with Quatro Corporation, a new thrift store called Second Chance Thrift will open in Virginia Beach and will benefit the VBSPCA! Second Chance Thrift is scheduled to open in late January or early February and has started to accept donations of gently used merchandise. In particular, they are collecting gently used clothing, shoes and accessories. The VBSPCA will receive a percentage of Second Chance Thrift sales. Second Chance Thrift is located at 5193 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23455 (Lakeshore Plaza, next to Food Lion and across from Gate 5 of Little Creek Amphibious Base). Second Chance Thrift is accepting tax-deductible donations Tuesday, Jan 26 through Friday, Jan 29 from 10 am – 4pm daily, and Sat, Jan 30 from 9 am – 3 pm.
