| White-tailed deer fawns often come into contact with humans during the spring and summer months. Because they are a high-stress species, many rehabilitators find it challenging to care for fawns. Successful rehabilitation includes consideration of diet, housing, release criteria, and potential problems and solutions of raising orphaned white-tailed deer.
