Each year the VBSPCA presents its Walk For The Animals and of course this event features dogs. We all know that no self-respecting cat would ever be caught walking on a leash amongst the likes of dogs! So to honor all the wonderful cats that have been adopted, we are presenting a virtual Cat Walk. The theme is "No Cat Left Behind", and the proceeds will benefit the VBSPCA cats and kittens still in search of their "forever" homes. The virtual Cat Walk is being held through October 25, 2009 and is open to all participants (even if you are already registered for the Walk For The Animals) with a special emphasis on rescued and adopted cats, but all critters are welcome. Registration is free! Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 "walkers" and the top team.
There are currently 6 walkers with a combined goal of $1750. A total of $535.00 has been raised online.
