VBSPCA VACCINATION CLINIC SCHEDULE

-->Important: please read the below information regarding vaccination clinic policies in-house and on the Neuter Scooter!

-->For Neuter Scooter location addresses, please refer to the Neuter Scooter webpage.

IN-HOUSE VACCINATION CLINICS

Important: These clinics are offered most Mondays & Saturdays, but do vary . Please refer to the schedule below!

-There are no scheduled appointments during vaccination clinics, all animals are seen first come/first served. We will make our best effort to serve all clients at vaccine clinic, however, in the event that there are too many people, a "cut off time" for check-in may be enforced.

-All cats must be presented in a carrier* and all dogs must be on a leash. (*If you do not have a carrier, please leave your pet in the car and you may purchase a cardboard carrier for $10.00 at the time of check-in).

-All vaccination clinics ARE income restricted (annual household income must be $45K, or less) and your pet must be spay/neutered. (If your pet is too young to be spay/neutered he/she may still be seen at the vaccination clinic, but the owner must pre-pay for the spay/neuter to be completed within 60 days). *During January & February, all First Responders and Active Duty Military are waived from the income restriction by showing a valid ID - thank you for your service!*

-All services must be paid for at the time of check-in. If additional services are provided, you will need to pay the balance at the time of check-out.

-All pets will be charged a $18.00 physical exam fee in addition to fees for services/treatments received.

-All pets will be escorted to the treatment room by a clinic staff member while the owner waits in the lobby. This allows the staff to more quickly evaluate and treat the animal, thus allowing for a greater number of animals to be seen during the restricted hours of the vaccination clinic.

-All pets are examined by a Veterinarian.

-If your pet is ill, or you have other concerns to be addressed by the veterinarian please DO NOT attend a vaccination clinic, but rather schedule a regular appointment by filling out an appointment request form on our website. Illness concerns presented during a vaccination clinic will be charged an additional fee and may be asked to reschedule.

NEUTER SCOOTER VACCINATION CLINIC

-->There is a walk-up vaccination clinic from 11am-12pm* during every Neuter Scooter event.
*special events may have extending vaccination clinic hours that will be stated on the schedule.

-All Neuter Scooter vaccine clinic services are CASH ONLY!

-There are no scheduled appointments during vaccination clinics, all animals are seen first come/first served.

-All cats must be presented in a carrier* and all dogs must be on a leash. (*If you do not have a carrier, please leave your pet in the car and you may purchase a cardboard carrier for $10.00 at the time of check-in).

-All vaccination clinics on the Neuter Scooter are NOT income restricted and your pet is NOT required to be spay/neutered. EFFECTIVE 8/15/2015, ALL UN-ALTERED PETS WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $12.00 FEE FOR VACCINE CLINIC EXAMS AT THE NEUTER SCOOTER. (While we STRONGLY encourage all pet owners to spay/neuter their pets, we recognize that the Neuter Scooter is a community outreach tool and we welcome all pet owners to have this important conversation with our staff!). Please note, pets that are not altered, are also NOT able to purchase flea/heartworm prevention. Please follow up with your private practice veterinarian to obtain these prescriptions.

-Because Neuter Scooter clients are not required to meet our regular clinic criteria (annual household income of $45K, or less and all pets must be spay/neutered) they must recognize that services received are limited to the Neuter Scooter and further treatment/services are not available through our clinic.

-All services must be paid for at the time of check-in.

-All pets will be charged a $12.00 physical exam fee in addition to fees for services/treatments received. 8/15/2015 ALL UNALTERED PETS WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $12.00 FEE.

-All pets will be escorted onto the Neuter Scooter by a clinic staff member while the owner waits outside the bus. This policy is due to both space and time restrictions.

-All pets are examined by a Veterinarian.

-If your pet is ill, or you have other concerns to be addressed by the veterinarian please DO NOT attend a vaccination clinic, but rather schedule a regular appointment with a private practice veterinarian, or at our VBSPCA clinic for qualifying clients.
