Christine Bontempi

(Christine is posing with Kovu, who was adopted in April, 2018).

Christine is excited to be performing in Dancing for Paws this year and supporting the SPCA! She grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA, and graduated with a B.S in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. She had the opportunity to work in a rotational program for the chemical company, BASF, in Cleveland, OH and Raleigh, NC. She moved to the Hampton roads area in 2016, and works as an Operations Engineer at BASF’s Suffolk plant. She started ballroom dancing 3 years ago, but had ballet training for 15 years. In college, she arranged and co-choreographed an abridged version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream ballet and has performed in many roles including the Queen of Hearts in Alice and Wonderland, and the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker. She wants to thank her family and friends for the continued support over the years and for donating to the SPCA!
